Belmonte Fighters wins

KATHMANDU, December 26:

Belmonte Fighters defeated J.V.D 11 by 84 runs in the ongoing Shree Ridhi Sidhi Marwadi Champions League T-20 Cricket Tournament here at Modern Indian School Ground, Chovar today.

Winning the toss, Belmonte Fighters elected to bat first. Belmonte made a good total of 156 runs in lost of 5 wickets playing all 20 overs. Vivek Maskara top scored for Belmonte with 38 runs off 54 balls including 4 fours. Md. Shahid Khan added a quick fire of 26 runs off 15 balls with 2 fours and a six. Neeraj Agrawal made 26 runs off 16 balls that included 3 fours and a six. Another batsman Vikash Goenka made 16 runss off 17 balls with 3 fours. Dipankar Yonjan grabbed 3 wickets for J.V.D 11 conceding 27 runs off his 4 over. Vicky Sharma and Kapil Nagpal shared each wicket.

In reply, J.V.D 11 were packed in 10 overs with only 74 runs on board. Shailendra Sharma, the impressive batsman added 17 runs off 13 balls with two big sixes. Kamal Sharma made 13 runs off 15 ball with 2 fours. Dipankar Yonjan and Sachin Jain added 12 and 6 runs respectively for J.V.D 11. For Belmonte Fighters, Neeraj Agrawal  took 3 wickets. While Anil Maharjan and Mukesh Sharma took 2 wickets each. Pramod Singh grabbed a wicket.

Vivek Maskara (Belmonte Fighters) was adjudged as the man of the match for his 38 runs. Neeraj Agrawal’s catch was awarded as Tip Top Kamaal Catch of the Match.

Ladli Lions will take on Duro Warriors tomorrow at the same venue at 08:00 AM.
