Australian Embassy rejects Visa

Cricnepal/ Kathmandu – Australian Embassy in Delhi rejected the VISA for Nepali Under 19 players and officials today.

Saurav Khanal, Avinash Karna and Ramnaresh Giri were among the players to be rejected while Raman Shiwakoti and Sunil Man Amatya were the officials to be rejected during the visa processing.

“The reason for rejection were – Players not having passport because of their age less than 18 years and Parents Approval document were missing”, Ashok Nath Pyakurel, the general Secretary of CAN said. The Nepali Players were scheduled to fly Australia tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) will try to request the embassy to provide another chance to the players.
