CAN XI Triumphant in AIDS Awareness Match

Cricnepal/Kathmandu: CAN XI defeated Celebrity XI  by 54 runs in a 10 over AIDS awareness match played today at Tribhuwan Universtiy International Cricket Ground organized by Cricket Association of Nepal(CAN) in the occasion of International HIV/AIDS day.

Winning the toss and batting first CAN XI posted 98 runs for loss of 4 wickets. Kiran Rana top scored with 24 runs of 15 balls. CAN general Secretary Ashok nath Pyakurel made 19 of just 12 balls. Coach of Nepali Cricket Team, Pudubu Dashanayeke scored 6 runs of four balls.

Chasing 98 Celebrity XI was restricted for 53 runs losing 8 wickets. Kiran rana bagged three wickets for the winning side.
