Cabinet extends Dassanayake’s tenure

Kathmandu – Nepal government has extended the contract of National cricket coach Pubudu Dassanayake’s for one year.

A Cabinet Meeting held in Singhadurbar on Friday decided to extend the Coach’s contract by a year. The contract will effect from July 1.

The contract was expired on June 30, 2014 and Cricket Association of Nepal didn’t renew it after which Coach flew back to Canada. CAN had been providing USD 8,000 per month.
