“Aarif and Karan are two raising stars of Nepali cricket.  But they have not played matches at high level and they have are less experienced. That’s why I am arranging this training for them,” says Dassnayake about sending Aarif and Karan to India.

He also revealed that he has not yet talked about this with Cricket Associatiom of Nepal (CAN). And if CAN agrees, they will be heading to Mumbai on 11th Ashwin and will return Nepal on 24th Ashwin.

Nepal is running out of fast bowlers as Jitendra and Abinash are not included in the team due to injuries. Another paceman Amrit Bhattarai who is in the team is neither in form nor totally fit.

Aarif who is more a batsman, also bowls medium pace and Karan is a right-arm medium pace bowler. Aarif took two wickets against Afghanistan during the ACC Premier league this year.

Both these players are  in the 18 man squad that will participate in the ICC World Cricket League Division 3  but not in the team that will participate in the Asian Games.
