Kathmandu – The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has assured Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) to facilitate Nepal’s training from June 5-20 in India.
“The BCCI Secretary Anurag Thakur confirmed through an email us about their willingness to arrange Nepal’s Closed camp training”, Uttam Karmacharya, Acting general secretary of CAN told.
However, the BCCI has not confirmed the venue and CAN has requested them to arrange in National Cricket Academy of Bangalore.
After the training in India, Nepali team will move to England and the Netherlands for practice matches.
Nepali Cricket team is scheduled to play ICC World Twenty20 Qualifiers from July 3-26 in Ireland and Scotland. Likewise, they will play two List A matches of ICC World Cricket League Championship against Scotland on July 29 and 31.
