Buddhi Pradhan to officiate in Asian Games

Kathmandu – Buddhi Pradhan, one of the international cricket umpire from Nepal will be officiating in the Cricket matches during the 17th Asian Games to be held in Incheon, Korea.

Pradhan, 38, did his ODI umpiring debut in the match against Kenya v Bermuda at Mombasa in Nov 11, 2006. He has already umpired in 23 One Day Internationals (ODI) matches.

Asian Cricket Council (ACC) published their list of officials one day before the Asian games. Sarika Prasad (Singapore), Ramani Batumalai (Malaysia), Rumesh Ratnayake (Sri Lanka), I Kamaruzzaman (Thailand), Riaz Chaudhry (Kuwait), Iqbal Sikander (Pakistan), Liu Jingmin (China) are officiating in the matches.

All the cricket matches will be played at the brand new Yeonhui International Cricket Stadium, South Korea’s first turf facility. It has a seating capacity of 2,352 and is close to the Incheon Asiad Main Stadium.
