Coach Dassanayake returns home

Kathmandu – Nepal National Cricket team coach Pubudu Dassanayake returned to Canada on November 29 after completing the Sir Lanka Practice Tour on a 10 days vacation to meet his family. Players of Nepal Cricket Team are also on a vacation that lasts till December 15.

Earlier, after a long conflict in Nepali Cricket arena about his contract with the team, on July 18, Pubudu’s contract was extended by a year through a cabinet meeting by the government.

He has been with the team since the Asian Games held in Incheon, South Korea . He will return back to Nepal on 9th December to start the preparations for ICC WCL Division 2 that is scheduled to start form January 17 in Namibia.

He resides in Angus, Ontario with his family.
