CWCL2: Namibia announce 14-men squad for upcoming Nepal tour

Cricket Namibia has unveiled their 14-men squad for the tour to Nepal for the One-Day Tri-series under the ICC World Cup Cricket League 2. This is the final tri-series between Nepal, Namibia and Scotland, as two have already been played in Scotland and Namibia.

Regular captain Gerhard Erasmus will lead the team with a few new faces. Veteran Allrounder Dawid Wiese is not in the squad. Namibia are in the third position in the table with 37 points from 30 matches. The Eagles are eyeing a direct spot in the World Cup Qualifiers, finishing inside the third position in the tournament.

Namibia last toured Nepal in 2016. Nepal were victorious in both matches, chasing 196 and 240 runs respectively. Six players from that tour will return to Nepal for another tour.

Scotland, who are at the top with 46 points from 32 matches, have already announced their squad for the last series of the tournament.

Nepal, on the other hand, released their final 20 for the closed camp on Thursday, including Sandeep Lamichhane. They are in the second position from the bottom with 18 points from 24 matches.
