The Nigeria Cricket Federation has announced former Kenya player, Steve Tikolo, as the new head coach and high-performance manager of the NCF on a two-year contract.
Tikolo was unveiled at the Tafawa Balewa Square Cricket Oval in Lagos, where he was received by the NCF president, Uyi Akpata.
His appointment follows a restructuring of the coaching department. The Kenyan will now head the senior men’s team and will be assisted by national coach Uthe Clive Ogbimi, while the other coaching structure remains the same.
Tikolo, who has met with the General Manager of the federation, Emeka Igwilo, will meet with other indigenous coaches and the NCF Technical Director, as he continues to familiarise himself with his new environment.
