National Sports Council has sent a proposal to the Nepal Government to reward the cricketers with cash prize after Nepali Team qualified for T20 World Cup today.
NSC supremo Yuvaraj Lama informed the about NSC step to reward cricketers via a press release today.
“This is the farthermost we have gone in team sports. We would like to congratulate all players, coaches and Cricket fans” read NSC released press release.
The government rewarding Cricketers after a major victory has been establishing as a culture now, and this is the second time in six months Nepal has achieved something big. Government had recently rewarded the Cricketers with 350,000 each after division 3 glory.
