The ICC today announced the match official appointments for the play-off matches, semi-finals and final of the ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier UAE 2013, to be played on 29 and 30 November. There are 6 matches to follow in the tournament, that starting with PNG v Scotland for 7th place play offs.
Although ICC uses Buddhi’s picture in the media release, he doesn’t get a single match in the remainder of the tournament. Joel Wilson and S. Ravi are the on field umpires for Nepal match against Afghanistan today. Steve Davis will be working as TV umpire.
The match official appointments for Friday 29 November are as follows:
Match 67 (7/8 Ranking) – PNG v Scotland, (1000-1300), Abu Dhabi Oval 1, Abu Dhabi – David Jukes (match referee), Gregory Brathwaite and John Ward (on-field umpires), C. Shamshuddin (reserve umpire)
Match 68 (Semi-final 1) – Afghanistan v Nepal, (1400-1700), Zayed Cricket Stadium, Abu Dhabi – Graeme La Brooy (match referee), Joel Wilson and S. Ravi (on-field umpires), Steve Davis (third umpire) and C. Shamshuddin (reserve umpire)
Match 69 (5/6 Ranking) – Hong Kong v the Netherlands, (1400-1700), Abu Dhabi Oval 1, Abu Dhabi – Dev Govindjee (match referee), Adrian Holdstock and Ian Ramage (on-field umpires) and Derek Walker (reserve umpire)
Match 70 (Semi-final 2) – Ireland v UAE, (1800-2100), Zayed Cricket Stadium, Abu Dhabi – David Jukes (match referee), Michael Gough and Ranmore Martinesz (on-field umpires), Steve Davis (third umpire) and Derek Walker (reserve umpire)
