Subash was unfortunate making the situation more miserable leaving Nepal 0/2 in 1.4 overs. Then Gyanendra Malla and Paras khadka build the innings cautiously to carry further. Later, after settling in, Khadka exposed himself dealing in boundaries and sixes every over. He eventually carried Nepal home before being out with Nepal just one short of the target. He scored 77 runs off 78 ball that included nine fours and one six in the process completing 1000 runs in ICC WCL tournaments. Gyanendra remained not out on 32 off 52 balls.
