Kathmandu Knights thrash Biratnagar Super Kings in a nine overs contest

Kathmandu Knights have registered their fourth win in Nepal T20 League. They hammered Biratnagar Super Kings by 34 runs in a nine overs contest. There was two hours delay after the protest from players.

Chasing a total of 92, Super Kings were wrapped up 58 runs in 8.5 overs. Four batters were sent back for a duck. Gauranshu Sharma scored the highest 22 runs for Biratnagar. Bivek Yadav and Nandan Yadav also scored 12 and 11 runs respectively.

Kamal Singh Airee picked up three scalps in just 1.5 overs. Anil Kharel and Sunam Gautam pocketed two wickets each.

Earlier in the first inning, Knights piled up 92/5 in stipulated nine overs after opting to bat first. Sandeep Rajali playing his first match, scored an unbeaten 32 from 22 balls. Kamal Singh Airee notched up 5-ball 14, smacking a couple of sixes. Gyanendra Malla and Alex Blake scored 14 and 13 runs, respectively.

Nandan Yadav was spectacular with the ball as he bagged three wickets, conceding just eight runs from two overs. Keon Joseph and Hussain Talat also pocketed one wicket each.
