Kenya post 255 after Lucas’ late blitz

Kenya vs Nepal

Kenya has piled up a decent total in the third and final One Day match against Nepal. Lucas Oluoch’s late blitz helped the home side post 255/9 at Gymkhana Club Ground.

Opting to bat first, Kenya lost Nelson Odhiambo cheaply before Wicketkeeper batter Sukhdeep Singh (37) and Collins Obuya shared 56 runs for the second wicket. Obuya topped the scorecard with 84 runs, however, it was Lucas Oluoch, who did more damage to Nepal. Lucas smacked unbeaten 59 runs from just 27 balls hammering five maximums and fours each. The big man smashed 20 runs from Basir Ahamad’s last over.

Emmanuel Bundi and Shem Ngoche also assisted 23 and 17 runs respectively.

For Nepal, Sompal Kami and Aadil Ansari picked up a couple of wickets each while Shahab Alam and Basir Ahamad also picked up a 1-1 wicket. Three Kenyan batters walked back after being run out.

Nepal has already bagged the series after winning the first two matches of the series.
