Chairman of the election government Khil Raj Regmi bid congratulations to National Cricket Team for making it to the T20 World Cup. He expressed that the World Cup berth was a historic achievement.
Regmi opined that today’s achievement was a milestone that would help establish Nepali sports globally. He also mentioned that it was a huge morale booster for all sports lovers in the country.
Regmi praised the of captain, coach, players, and all others for associated with the game for their continuous efforts and believes.
Nepal defeated Hong Kong today by 5 wickets in the ongoing ICC T20 Qualifiers to book to become the third associate team to book a place in ICC T20 World Cup 2014. Ireland and Afghanistan are other two associates that made it to Bangladesh through this T20 Qualifier
