Kathmandu-KIST Medical College and Patan Academy of Health Sciences have registered victories on Day One of the 4th Rupdip Memorial Cricket Tournament being played at Sainik Aawaisya Mahavidyalaya.
In the opening match of the tournament KIST defeated 3 times defending champion and host Nepal Medical College(Red) by 6 wickets. Winning the toss and batting first NMC posted mere 90 runs before getting all out in 18.4 overs. Ravi Singh from KIST bagged 4 wickets to restrict NMC to a low score. KIST chased the 91 run target in only 12.4 overs riding on 33 ball 40* from Lalit Shah. Shah was declared the player of the match.
In the other match played today Patan Academy of Health Sciences defeated Nepal Army Institute of Medicine.
