Kushal Malla reach Pakistan to play Pakistan Junior League

Nepal’s young and exciting All-rounder, Kushal Malla, has reached Pakistan to play the maiden edition of the Pakistan Junior League. The 18 years old was signed by Gwadar Sharks in the sixth round of the X-factor category.

The legendary West Indian Sir Vivian Richards is the mentor of Gwadar Sharks, while Mushtaq Ahmed will work as head coach and Kamran Khan as batting coach with the team.

Six teams will compete in the Pakistan Junior League (PJL), which is set to be the first international league to exclusively consist of junior cricketers. The league will be played from 6–21 October 2022, featuring six teams and 19 games, at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.

Kushal Malla has already played Eight ODIs and 15 T20Is for Nepal. He holds the record of the World’s youngest half-centurion in ODI, beating the record of his own teammate, Rohit Paudel. The southpaw made 50 off 51 balls on his ODI debut in a World Cup League 2 match against the USA, aged 15 years and 340 days.
