Namibia post 274 runs with a late blitz

Namibia has piled up a decent score of 274/6 against Nepal in their second encounter of the Tri-Series Under CWC League 2. Despite an average start, Namibia struck 96 runs from the last six overs to set a very competitive total.

Lo-handre Louwrens and Karl Birkenstock (20) added 64 runs for the first wicket. However, they were down to 138/5 after a sensational spell from Sandeep Lamichhane. Louwrens scored 41, while other batters were unable to do any special. Pikky Ya France and Zane Green then shared 94 runs for the sixth wicket to rescue the Eagles. France was run out for 49(39), while Zane Green remained unbeaten for 75 runs from 63 balls, hammering 11 fours and one maximum. Ruben Trumpelmann, in the end, smacked seven ball-24. 

Sandeep Lamichhane once again was the pick of a bowler for Nepal, grabbing three wickets (10-0-46-3). Karan Kc grabbed one but went for 74 runs from his nine overs.
