Kathmandu- The 50 over national tournament, which will also serve as the selection tournament for ACC Premier League(starting 30th April) is set to start on 9th April, Wednesday. 11 teams will likely participate in the tournament that includes 9 Regions and 2 Departmental Teams-APF and Nepal Army. Nepal Police which is yet to reveal its team is unlikely to participate in the tournament.
APF is the defending Champion but having lost its T20 Champions Title to Nepal Army this season, APF will have it work cut out for the tournament. Pepsi and Standard Chartered is the title sponsor of the tournament which shall be called Pepsi Standard Chartered National Cricket Tournament.
