Nepal-Hong Kong request for T20I in Colombo

Kathmandu-Nepal and Hong Kong are likely play a T20I at Colombo following a 50 over match.

After the 3 match T20I, the first ever bilateral series for Nepal series, was completly washed out by rain and thus cancelled the teams had moved to Colombo today.

Nepal and Hong Kong have proposed ICC(International Cricket Council) and Sri Lanka Cricket Board for a 50 over match on Sunday followed by T20I on Monday. Although SLC Board and ICC are yet announce their final decision.

“If ICC refuses the proposal Hong Kong and Nepal will play two 50 over matches” myrepublica quotes Nepal’s team manager Sailesh Chaudhary on the same issue.

“He also informed Republica that both the teams have requested for a five-match T20I series at any venue before the ICC World Cricket League Division 2.” reads the story in myrepublica.
