CricNepal-The National Cricket team is all set to go Coach-less starting tomorrow as Dassnayake’s contract expires today and CAN has made it clear that it cannot hire Dassanayake owing to their poor financial state.
Cricket Association of Nepal has reasoned that they are low on funds to provide for Dassanayake’s expenses for not extending his contract. Dassnayake’s was handed three months extension after his two years tenure as head coach ended on March 30th.
“We are yet to receive funds from ICC/ACC and CAN on its own is financial very weak”, reads CAN issued press release. “We will discuss about hiring a coach if we receive the funds”
