Nepal set to jump to the 15th position in the ODI ranking

Nepal are set to improve their place in the Men’s ODI ranking yet again. The new International Cricket Council (ICC) ODI ranking will see Nepal in the 15th position, improving one spot.

The new ICC rankings for men across all three formats – Tests, ODIs and T20Is are updated on Wednesdays. The last ranking was updated on the 15th of March. Hence the next change will be updated on 22nd March.

Nepal will replace Oman in the 15th position. Both Oman and Nepal have equal ratings (31); however, Nepal is ahead on the points.

A month ago, Nepal were in the 19th spot, and they have improved three-position across the last couple of updates. Nepal saw a hike after their sensational run in recent times. They finished third in the CWC League 2 and booked a direct spot in the World Cup Qualifier after bagging 11 victories from the last 12 matches.

India are at the top of the ODI rankings, followed by Australia and New Zealand.
