Nepalese U19 loses to Indian U19

Kathmandu – Nepal Under 19 team lost another match to the Strong Indian U19 team by 9 wickets in the ACC U19 Asia Cup 2013/14 at Dubai CA ground on Sunday.

Opting to bat first, Nepal collapsed in 44.4 overs and posted a moderate 136 runs on the board. For Nepal, Bibhastu Thapa  47 (105 balls) and Aarif Sheikh contributed 42 (62 balls) respectively.  It was Indian bowler Kuldeep Yadav who took five wickets to his name, that restricted Nepal from 125/5 in 40th over to 136 all out  in 45th over.

In the second innings, Indian U19 lost just one wicket to chased the target in 26th over. Opener AA Herwadkar scored run a ball 71 runs while Skipper Vijay Zol smashed not out 61 runs.

Slow left-arm chinaman bowler – Kuldeep Yadav was adjudged Man of the Match for his five-for in the match.
