Paras Khadka has recovered from his back strain and will lead Nepal against UAE tomorrow.
“Nepali Skipper who had been suffering from a back strain is now fit and will play against UAE in the opening match of Qualifier.” A New Zealand source informed Cricnepal about Paras’ fittness. However there are still questions about his bowling. Its only logical that Paras doesn’t stress his already troubling back.
Nepal had played two of its official practice matches without Paras. Nepal were on the losing side in both of them.
Subash Khakurel, although discharged from hospital is not fit enough to play against UAE. Mahesh Chhetri will likely open tomorrow along side Anil Mandal.
The team combination will be revealed tomorrow.
