Paras, Sagar help Nepal win

After a devastating batting collapse against Sir Lanka Ports Authority Club in the first match , Nepal showed some resistance with the bat  to win over Colts Cricket Club by seven wickets in the 2nd practice match today. Nepal Cricket Team is in Sir Lanka to play 3 practice match ahead of the Division 3 tournament.

Nepal who were all out for just 79 runs in the first practice match, showed some resistance with the bat to chase 152 runs target with ease in the 35 overs. Captain Paras Khadka anchored Nepal’s chase with a fluent 67 off 68 balls and he was well supported his counterpart Gyanendra Malla who finished on unbeaten 56.The duo shared a partnership of above 100 runs.

Earlier a five wicket haul by Sagar Pun helped Nepal restrict Colts for 152 runs in the 44th over. Sompal Kami and Amrit Bhattarai also picked two wickets each. Ports Captain Angelo Jaysinghe top scored with 50 runs for the host team.
