Pratish GC makes ODI debut for Nepal

Young Left-arm pacer Pratish GC has received his ODI cap and becomes the 37th player to represent team Nepal on Monday against Papua New Guinea.

Pratish, 18, received his ODI cap during the opening match of the Tri-series involving Nepal, Papua New Guinea and the hosts United Arab Emirates under the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup League 2 at the iconic Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Pratish GC received his debut ODI cap from the senior pro – Sompal Kami ahead of the match.

Pratish was included as a reserve player during the recently concluded Tri-series against Scotland and Namibia at home and he received a maiden call-up during this series. He had a standout performance in the inaugural edition of the Nepal T20 League with his all-round ability.

The 18 years old picked up five wickets and scored 89 runs with a healthy strike rate of 178, striking ten sixes.
