Shiva International defeated Sunrise English School in the semi-final of National Inter School Cricket Competition organized jointly by Shiraha and Mohattari Cricket Association.
Shiva International represtenting region number.1 Biratnagar chased 130 run target set by Sunrise School in just 17.3 overs thanks to 84 runs off just 38 balls from Rohit Singh. Niraj Mukhiya held the other end for Shiva School with 31 runs.
Earlier winning the toss and inviting Sunrise to bat first, Rohit’s brother Robin Singh took 4 wickets for Shiva International to restrict Sunrise to 129/9 in 20 overs. Puran Singh top scored for Sunrise School with 45 runs and Suraj Kharel made 25. Sunrise school represented region no.9 in the tournament.
The tournament will receive a champion today school representing from when Region no. 2 take on Shiva International representing region number 1
