Sudurpaschim thrash Gandaki Province to bag a third win in a row

Sudurpaschim Province has bagged the third win in a row in the ongoing U-19 National Tournament after thrashing Gandaki Province on Sunday. Milan Bohara was the star in the team’s clinical 113 runs victory.

Opting to bat first at TU Cricket Ground, Sudurpaschim made 213 before being bowled out in 49.3 overs. Akash Chand coming to bat at no. 9, topped the scorecard with 40 runs. Anurag Singh and Naren Saud contributed 37 and 27 runs, respectively.

Subash Bhandari picked up three wickets for Gandaki (10-1-30-3). The other six bowlers picked up one wicket each.

Gandaki, in reply, were wrapped up for mere 100 runs in 32.5 overs. Milan Bohara was terrific, picking up six wickets to destroy Gandaki’s inning. Bohara conceded only 11 runs and bowled four maidens in his 9.5 overs. Akash Chand also pocketed a couple of wickets.

Openers Govind Bk (22) and Arjun Kumal (20) added 42 runs for the opening wicket however the team collapsed later.

Milan Bohara (9.5-4-11-6 and 24 runs) was adjudged as player of the match.
