Yeti Airlines won the Ncell Corporate Beach Cricket 2014 defeating Nepal Tourism Board by 20 runs in the final of the tournament. The one of its kind beach cricket in Nepal is organized annually by Ncell takes place at Kurintar, Chitwan.
The teams for the 5 over a side tournament were hosted by Riverside Spring Resort and was played between various corporate teams over 2 week ends. Nepal Tourism won the final of week end 1 and Yeti airlines won that of the second weekend to set up the grand final for today.
Vetran Cricketer Prafulla Vaidya playing for Yeti Airlines top scored with 15 runs and Ravi Sharma with 14 to take Yeti to 90 runs in 5 overs. In reply the Tourism Board were managed only 75 riding on top score of 31 from Surya Thapaliya. Thapaliya is an avid Nepali cricket follower!
