Kathmandu- A complete all-round performance by Baluwatar Cricket Club saw them record an easy 118 runs win over New Vision Club in the second game of the Kathmandu Cricket League 2015 at Tundikhel Ground on Sunday.
Balauwatar won the toss and elected to bat first. Their decision proved right as they posted 236/8 playing all 40 overs. Rabin Joshi top scored for them with 66 runs off 70 balls with five fours and a six. Sunil Lama scored 44 runs while Samsher Chand cored 41 runs for Baluwatar. Ram Chaudhary was the pick of the bowler for New Vision picking 3 wickets in his 7 overs conceding just 29 runs.
Baluwatar were able to restrict New Vision for only 118 runs in 32.5 overs thanks to some outstanding bowling from Kshtiz Singh and Anup Oli, both of whom shared 3 wickets each. Kshitz conceded just 15 runs in his quota of 8 overs while Anup conceded 16 runs in same number of overs. Ram Chaudhhary was the top scorer with 26 runs to his name for New Vision. Rabin Joshi was named the player of the match.
