Kathmandu- Nepal’s Veteran Spinner Basant Regmi has stroke a personal endorsement deal with President Travels and Tours Pvt Ltd worth Rs 15,000 per month for a time period of two years.
Bhola Bikram Thapa, President of the company, announced the deal amid a function at the company’s office in Durbarmarg, Kathmandu. Basant will receive additional payment for the promotion of company’s brand and products.
This endorsement came under Zohra Sports Management Company’s (ZSM) new initiation programme “Corporate Adoption Programme” which will play an anchor role to help corporate houses recruit players from National Cricket Team.
Basant said that he was delighted with the endorsement. “I would like to thank the company for endorsing me. This will motivate me further to perform better for my country and it would be even better if i can be useful to the company as well,” he said further.
Meanwhile, President Thapa said that he was lucky to have endorsed Basanta. “More than a deal, it was our responsibility to do something for the players. And we feel glad to have linked our name with a national hero, Thapa said.
