Chitwan Tigers rope in two Int’l cricketers for EPL 2018

Kathmandu – Chitwan Tigers, one of the franchises of Everest Premiere League (EPL) has roped in two International cricketers, Max Holden and James Fuller for the 2018 edition today.

Max Holden, 20, is a former England Under-19 captain while James Fuller, 28, is a former New Zealand Under-19 player, both currently plays as allrounders for Middlesex in English county cricket.

“The performance of the team in the first edition was not satisfactory hence we have decided to opt in few of these International players, this gives us a new energy in the dressing room”, Kishor Bhattarai, owner of the Tigers expressed.

Tigers were at the bottom of the points table last year with just one win. They are still in the hunt for the third International player. Dipendra Singh Airee is the marquee player of the team alongside Anil Mandal, Dilip Nath, Sandeep Sunar, Bhim Sharki, Lalit Singh Bhandari, Kamal Singh Airee and Saahab Alam.

The second edition of Everest Premiere League is scheduled for the end of November.
