Gama Strikers VS Tip Top XI
Gaurav Jain inspired Gama Striker to a three wickets win over Tip Top XI in the opening match of Donear Marwadi Premier League cricket tournament, 2015.
Gaurav Jain of Gama Strikers picked three wickets with the ball bowling first and then returned with a fine 35 runs off 29 balls with the bat as Gama Strikers chased a target of 138 runs in 19.2 overs. He shared an important 58 runs partnership with Amit Goenka (18) for the 4th wicket to set up the win. Rahul Bansal also made important contribution with the bat hitting 24 not out off 20 balls.
Earlier, Tip Tip made 137/8 in 20 overs thanks to the contribution of openers Amol Sharma 39 off 33 balss and Yogesh Sawarathiya.
Intex Lions VS Colors X Factors
In the second match of the day Intex Lions completely thrashed Colors X Factors by 123 runs. Saurav Lunawat set the tone for Intex Lions with a blistering innings of 71 off 36 balls that included 13 fours and 1 six that helped them put 209/7 on the board. Umesh Lochar 27 off 24 balls also made a vital contribution as he shared a partnerhsip 0f 76 runs for the 4th wicket with Saurav. Abhishek Saria and Rohit Sanghai picked two wickets each for Colors.
A target of 210 runs never in sight for Colors as they kept losing wickets ever since the start. Saurav returned with the ball picking 3 wickets as Colors were restricted for 86 runs in 13.3 overs.
