ICC-
International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced fixtures of ICC T20 WorldCup qualifiers 2015 which will be played in eight different venues across Ireland and Scotland.
The 18 day tournament will start on 9th of july and the final will be played on 26th, between these dates 14 teams will play altogether 51 matches. The top six teams will join Zimbabwe and Bangladesh in another qualifier, first stage of the ICC T20 WorldCup 2016 in India. Only two of these eight teams will advance to the main stage i.e the super 10 stage of the tournament.
According to ICC, the sides that top the two groups will automatically qualify for the ICC World Twenty20 India 2016, while the sides that finish second and third in each of the two groups will play cross-over matches with the two winners joining the table-toppers for the India tournament. The losing sides of the two play-off matches will then play the fourth-placed sides from each of the two groups in cross-over matches with the winners completing the 16-team line-up for the ICC World Twenty20 India 2016.
Nepal in last edition finished 3rd in the tournament and advanced to ICC T20 World Cup 2014 in Bangladesh where Nepal won 2 out of 3 matches in their inaugural T20 WorldCup.
