Kathmandu – Nepal Under 19s defeated Ireland Under 19s by 8 wickets in the 13th match of ongoing ICC U19 Cricket World Cup 2016 at Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium, Fatullah on January 30.

- This is the second time, Nepal U19 have been to super league quarterfinals of ICC U19 CWC 2016, previously they reached in 2000.
- Nepal U19 team is the only team from the associate country to reach the super league quarter-finals two times. Afghanistan U19 have achieved this feat once in ICC U19 CWC, 2014.
- Sandeep Lamichhane became the first Nepal bowler to take a hat-trick at U19 Cricket World Cup and second after Avinash Karn in U19 internationals.
- Nepal’s win-loss record of 21-17 is the highest among associates.
- This is Nepal U19’s fifth and third straight win over Ireland U19. Ireland have only one win against Nepal.
