Lahore Qalandars signs Sandeep Lamichhane for PSL4

Nepal’s young leg-spinner Sandeep Lamichanne has bagged a gold category contract for Lahore Qalandars for the fourth season of Pakistan Super League.

The 18-year old youngster will be playing alongside South African superstar AB de Villiers, Pakistan’s Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Hafeez, Yasir Shah, and Shaheen Afridi. Likewise, West Indies Carlos Brathwaite and New Zealand’s all-rounder Corey Anderson were also picked by the franchise team.

The Qalandars are the least successful team among the six PSL sides and have finished dead last in each of the first three editions of the tournament. However, they were the big winners of the PSL draft 2018.

Earlier this month, Lamichhane bagged an Australia’s Big Bash league contract for Melbourne Stars team.
