Sandeep Lamichhane bags two wickets in an over against Jamaica

Melbourne – Sandeep Lamichhane, the exciting kid on the block, playing his third T20 match of the ongoing Caribbean Premier League has bagged two wickets against Jamaica Tallawahs on thursday morning (NPT).

Lamichhane, 18, was hit for ten runs off his first over and the next over gave him two wickets in the spare of three balls.

Earlier, He was hit for a Six by Lewis off his first delivery, and next balls he got the revenge. Lewis was caught at long-off region for 49.

Two balls later, Sandeep trapped AM McCarthy with a googly for a duck. The next two overs went wicket-less but he managed to restrict the run-flow.

His first 7 balls went for 16 runs and last 17 balls went for 5 runs and gave him two wickets. He completed his spell of bowling with a bowling figure of 4-0-21-2.

Lamichhane had now saved the second most runs in the CPL this season according to Cricinfo’s smart stats. Altogether, he has added five wickets so far in the tournament.
