Lamichhane’s spell goes in vain, Montreal loses another match

Vancouver Knights defeated Montreal Tigers by 18 runs in the 8th match of Global T20 Canada at King City on July 2.

This is second loss for Sandeep Lamichhane’s team in the tournament but he had a good outing especially with the bowling. He bowled four overs and gave away 19 runs including 15 dots (4-1-19-1). He bowled with an economy rate of 4.75 and got smashed for just a boundary and a six.

He also claimed a wicket in that spell as he stumped West Indian Chadwick Walton for 5 runs at seventh over of the match.

Vancouver Knights managed to score 166 runs in their 20 overs losing 6 wickets and restricted Montreal Tigers for 148 runs in 19.4 overs. Lamichhane remained unbeaten with 7 runs that included a six in three balls.
