Kathmandu, June 15: Mumbai Cricket Club recorded an easy win over Chelsea International Academy here at TU Ground on Wednesday in a T20 Match. Winning the toss, Mumbai Club (A) decided to bat first. The first wicket partnership of 73 runs between Dhruva and Ankit led them to a comprehensive total of 180 runs. Ajinkya scored 43 runs from 27 balls with six fours. For Chelsea (A) Manish Dhakal claimed two wickets while Siddartha Paudel, Rabin Regmi and Suresh Adhikari took a wicket each. Defending the target, Saif and Dhruv claimed two wickets each while Kedar and Harshad added one wicket each as Mumbai (A) restricted Chelsea (A) to 88 runs in the allocated 20 overs to win the match by the margin of 92 runs.
In another match played, Mumbai Academy (B) registered a 12-run win over Chelsea International Academy (B). Winning the toss, Mumbai (B) scored 110 runs losing 9 wickets. Mahesh scored 27 runs off 25balls with two fours and one six. Skipper Ghanashyam Neupane claimed three wickets while Nilaya Mainali and Ayush Ghimire took a wicket each for Chelsea (B). Chasing the target, Samip Neupane scored 15 runs off 17 balls while Manish Paudel and Shirish Khanal added 12 runs each to the account. Sanket took three important wickets just conceding five runs in four overs of his spell while Divesh took three, Ajoy took two and Jay took one wicket as Mumbai (B) restricted Chelsea (B) to 94 runs in 20 overs.
