Nepal cricket team leaves for UAE; Dassanayeke waves goodbye

Kathmandu- Nepal cricket team has left for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to play matches against Hong Kong, Pakistan, Danube Lions, Oman and Papua New Guinea (PNG).

The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) gave farewell to the team amid a ceremony at Kathmandu.

Nepal’s head coach Pubudu Dassanayeke, who will be leaving the team after the matches against PNG waved goodbyes to the every Nepal Cricket supporters. “I don’t want to be specific, I thank each and every Nepal Cricket supporters for the love and support they have shown to me,” he said.

“Its been a wonderful three and half years with the team. I feel really blessed to have guided this wonderful team,” emotional Pubudu said.

Nepal plays two match against Hong Kong, 50 over practice matches against Pakistan, Danube Lions, and Oman and WCL matches against PNG during the tour.
