Nepal face a pitiful loss after being bowled out for 8 runs

UAE Women’s U-19 cricket team have registered a tremendous win over Nepal Women’s U-19 cricket team in the second match of ICC Women’s U-19 Cricket World Cup Asian region qualification. UAE thrashed Nepal by 10 wickets at UKM-YSD Cricket Oval after wrapping up Nepal for mere 8 runs.

Captain Theertha Satish and Lavanya Keny scored unbeaten 4 and 3 runs respectively as UAE chased down the tiny total of 9 runs in just 1.1 overs.

Earlier in the first inning, Nepalese teens were destroyed by the opening spell of Mahika Gaur and Indhuja Nandakumar after opting to bat first. Mahika grabbed a fifer conceding just 2 runs from her 4 overs quota. Similarly, Indhuja pocketed 3 wickets giving up 6 runs.

Sneha Mahara (3) topped the score chart as 6 Nepalese batters were dismissed for a duck. 11th woman Maneesha Rana remained not out for 2 runs.

Nepal defeated Qatar by 79 runs in the previous match whereas the UAE thrashed Bhutan by 160 runs after piling up 202 runs on the board.

The team claiming the top spot in Asian Qualification will grab the ticket to South Africa.
