Nepal faces Namibia in the third round fixtures for ICC WCLC’15

Nepal Team

Melbourne – The International Cricket Council (ICC) on monday has announced the third round fixtures for ICC World Cricket League Championship.

According to the new fixtures, Nepal will take on Namibia on their backyard on 16th and 18th April at Tribhuvan University Ground, Kirtipur. But, ICC is again not 100% sure regarding the infrastructure, security and ground preparation done by Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN).

It will be a big blow for Nepal and Nepali Cricket fans if CAN doesn’t respond to ICC. They will have to address those issues asap and the workload is not yet completed, they needs to find out a Candidate for the vacant position of Coach for the National team.

But, CAN members are currently busy in the 4th Annual General Meeting in Kathmandu and the T.U. Ground is still under construction and whatever the ICC dictates later will decide. Nepal has already lost its chance to play two home matches against PNG due to the similar condition.

Currently, Nepal is placed at the bottom of the points table after their losses against Scotland(0-2) and Papua New Guinea(0-2). Namibians, on the other hand are also struggling with just one win out of the four matches they have won.
