    Nepal to play additional practice match against Ontario

    The Nepalese Cricket Team will be playing another warm-up match against Ontario on Sunday before facing Canada. The T20 match will commence at 7:15 PM (NST).

    Earlier, Nepal defeated MLCC XI by 69 runs in the 50-over match on Friday night. Opting to bat first, Binod Bhandari’s half-century and Aasif Sheikh’s 42 helped Nepal post a fighting total of 220 runs before wrapping up the home side for mere 151 runs. Pawan Sarraf bagged 3 scalps for Nepal, Dipendra Singh Airee, Aarif Sheikh, and Kishore Mahato also grabbed a couple of wickets.

    Nepal is set to play two 50-over matches against Canada before heading to Scotland to play the tri-series involving Namibia and the hosts Scotland under the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2.
