Kathmandu- Nischal Pandey shone with both bat and ball as Pokhara defeated Nepalgunj by 98 runs to record the first win of senior national cricket tournament 2015 in a match played at Engineering Ground, Pulchowk on Friday.
Nischal basted 41 runs off 59 balls with the bat that helped Pokhara post 234/8 in allotted overs and returned with the ball to pick four wickets as they hammered Nepalgunj by 98 runs to record their first win in three games.
Apart from Nischal, Bidhan Shrestha and Sudip Poudel also scored 37 and 39 runs respectively. Amar Singh Routela and Avinash ohara shared four wickets between for Nepalgunj.
Nepalgunj could only manage 136 runs in 36.5 overs.
