Pakistan’s Shoaib Malik became the first player to play 100 T20 International matches. Malik played his 100th match against Australia in the ongoing Tri-series featuring the host Zimbabwe.
He has replaced his country-man Shahid Afridi who played 99th T20I matches from 2006-2018. Malik also started his T2OI career in 2006 and managed to score 2039 runs with an average of 31.36. Off-spinning allrounder has 28 scalps to his name until today.
India’s Mahendra Singh Dhoni is third on the list as he has played 90 matches.
