Kathmandu-Three teams-Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia and UAE participating in the ACC U-19 Premier Tournament in Kuwait are facing issues with Visas hence the day one matches between Nepal and Malaysia, and Kuwait and Afghanistan has been postponed.
The Premier U-19 tournament which is being held for the first time in league format in also a qualification tournament for the 2016 U-19 World Cup. The winner of this tournament directly qualify for the mega event in Bangladesh while the runner up will have to play the runner’s up of other four regions in the U-19 World Cup Qualifier for remaining one spot.
The Malaysian Cricket’s official twitter handle revealed about the postponement today(Thrusday, November 6)
