Biratnagar Kings have revealed their list of retained players ahead of the second season of the Nepal Premier League (NPL). The team has decided to stick with a mix of experienced and young talents as they look to bounce back from a tough first season.
Star leg-spinner Sandeep Lamichhane remains the marquee player and will continue to lead the side. Alongside him, the Kings have retained key players Pratish GC, Lokesh Bam, and Bashir Ahmed. Young prospects Naren Bhatta and Subash Bhandari have also been kept on the roster.
However, the team has decided to part ways with Rajesh Pulami, Anil Kharel, Jitendra Mukhiya, Dipak Bohara, and Mrinal Gurung.
Biratnagar Kings had a rough outing in the inaugural season, finishing sixth in the table with only two wins.
New Zealand's star batter, Martin Guptill was a big signing for the team from the first season.
