Ireland- Nepalese national cricket team’s physio Doctor Aijaz Bashir Ashai (42) contract has been terminated by the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) after being alleged of sexually assaulting a masseuse in a Northern Ireland Hotel.
The incident was alleged to have occurred in La Mon Hotel and Country House on Tuesday this week.
He has been taken in custody on Wednesday, and could face six months in jail and/or a £5000 fine if found guilty. The incident happened at the same hotel on Tuesday, where Nepal’s cricket team is residing.
Nepal takes P.N.G. at Dublin (Malahide) on Friday. The match stats at 2:45 NPT, Will be aired on Star Sports 4.
