CAN’s TB Shah dies

Kathmandu – The acting President of Cricket Association of Nepal – Tarini Bikram Shah has died due to Cancer yesterday.

Shah, 81, was suffering from Liver Cancer and died on sunday night at Norvik Hospital. He was supposed to be taken to England for the treatment but the he went to critical condition and was rushed to the hospital in the morning.

He was appointed as the acting President of CAN on June 12 after the elected committee under Tanka Anbhuhang was dissolved facing corruption charges by Ministry of Youth and Sports.

Shah had worked in different position for the past 31 years in CAN for the development of Nepali Cricket.
